From Reunion Coordinator Hap Lamberth - Latest Information
on the Reunion:
All you
Panthers,
First,
registration is now closed for the AHS 56 55th reunion
activities being held on September 16-18th, 2011. As
previously announced: Whatever events and services you may
have wished to be part of must have been paid for observing
the Sep 2nd deadline. We do not have any way of handling
cash at the reunion, and also will not accept a check from
anyone there having previously been "invited" by either by
the USPS (snail mail) or email. The name badges will be
coded to identify events and services paid for. However, we
are accepting the registrations that were mailed/called-in
over the last week or so, or as otherwise dribbled in by Sep
3rd.
For those not
having already booked needed rooms at the Senior rate, we
have backstopped availability with a block of rooms
available from Thurs thru Sun nights. Space is limited, so
first come - first served. Just call the hotel at
915+779-3300 and ask for the AHS-1956 room block rate.
Further, will
have a professional videographer around both the Marriott
and the CCC doing his thing during events and in-between
too. He may try to do some remote interviews over the
internet with Skype for those not attending. Please let us
know if you would like to have a remote interview. He does
the collection work at no charge and sells the video
collection for $25 a copy. May have a boogie or two from
the dancing!! Also, please be advised there will be no
program with classmate participation either Fri or Sat. A
few announcements and acknowledgments will be made both
Friday and Saturday nites. Please send me any short
announcements you may have. We will also have a bulletin
board in the hospitality suite at the Marriott.
