Christine Byrd (Webb) Dees, 73, of Burnet, Texas, died August 28, 2011.   Christine was a well-known attorney in Burnet, and as a contributing member of the Bertram Church of Christ, she used her talents to help so many.  She was also a volunteer for Court Appointed Special Advocates of the Highland Lakes Area and in addition, worked for Child Protective Services.  Christine enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, her son Warren Lake Webb and her daughters Tracie Mauthe and Alexa Kennedy, and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  She will be missed by all her family and by the countless hearts she has touched. Christine took great pleasure in travel and saw many parts of the world. A memorial service was held September 2nd at the Bertram Church of Christ in Bertram, with the Rev. Gary Blakeney officiating.
