DEWITT
Judith Ware DeWitt passed away Dec. 27, 2006 in Austin, TX. She was born in Memphis, TN on July 5, 1940. She is survived by her sons James Edward Hood IV and Jeffrey Madison Hood of St. Louis, MO. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and James Rowe of Horseshoe Bay, TX, sister-in-law Claire Ware of El Paso, dearest friend of 58 years, Ona Fern and friend Beatrix Short of Payson, AZ. She was preceded in death by her brother Donald Ware and sister Sally Ware Gist. Judi graduated from Austin High School in 1957 where she was a Football Princess, class favorite and ROTC sponsor. She attended business school in El Paso and worked as a bookkeeper and accountant. She was a member of the experimental flying club of Phoenix, AZ. A memorial service will be held Jan. 12, 2007 at 10AM at the White Acres Good Samaritan Retirement Village on Good Samaritan Ct.
